Most of them either didnt work, slapped upon a stupid watermark, or tried to hijack my notifications. But a few… actually worked. Shockingly well.

Pros:

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, subsequently it acts afterward it saved but nada.

Interface looks past Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still… its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just let us pull off this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep similar to audio (sorta), but IG acts when Reels are nuclear inauguration codes. Wild.

Its not. I tested it for two weeks. Didnt miss a single Reel. Even the ones I forgot I watched.

Coolest features:

Hidden vault mode (password protected).

Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I get it. We desire to save that reel. proceed it to friends. Watch offline. maybe meme it later.

Weird trick I found. You paste the Reel URL into IGReelTXT, and it spits out a .txt file in the same way as the audio link, thumbnail URL, and a hidden MP4 file link. Its taking into consideration IGs debug data or something.
